Absolute perfection. Went there for luch because the one we wanted to visit wasn't open yet. And boooy we had a great lunch! Mixed grill plate, fried squid and a lamb dish I can't remember the name of. We had the most amazing tastes in perfect portion sizes we had so far in Kryopighi. An the atmosphere is very pleasing. Worth a visit! And the scenry is nice as well.

We are just back from our holidays and highly recommend this place for delicious Greek cuisine. Great staff, atmosphere, surroundings. Food delicious and affordable.

The first time we ordered Tzatziki and bread, Kleftico, Honey & Fig Cheese, chips, 2 beers and a Vodka and Limon
The food was really good. As a vegetarian and not wanting a big meal I had the honey and fig cheese which was delicious. My husband had the Kleftico and he thought is was really good.
The bill on this occasion came to €58.10
We found the service and staff efficient and friendly
As a vegetarian this is one of the few places that offers a choice of vegan main meals
If wish to order vegan Moussaka then this needs to be ordered in advance-so it may be worth asking the day before if you wish to order a vegan main dish!
We returned a few nights later, this time we ordered Hot Peppers grilled, Tzatziki and Bread, Mixed grill and Mushroom Pasta. A beer, a greek cider and a Vodka and Limon. The bill came to €66.40
As on the first visit the food was really good. We must have been recognised as returning diners as we got a warmer welcome and we were chatted to by the owner, and we were chatting about the produce he grows.
If you are visiting Kriopigi then we do recommend visiting the Adonis Tavera.

Very tasty food, felt like homemade greek cuisine with all the love put into it. Highly recommended. And the owners are absolutely fantastic - a great reason for a quick visit in Kriopigi - even if it's just for a lunch.

Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere! The delicious treats were a nice touch. The shrimp pasta was outstanding, and the sea bass was very fresh. The fish soup was flavorful and comforting, and the salad was fresh and crisp. The risotto was more like rice than traditional risotto, but still tasty overall. A great spot for seafood lovers!

Amazing food and friendly environment, we have been eating most of the days here for lunch as we have half board at our hotel. If you are looking for a traditional greek cousine and you love mediterranean food, this is the place to eat. The staff were friendly, and the service was great. The food was delicious, especially the garlic bread with cheese—it’s definitely worth trying. Overall, a solid place for a good meal.

An excellent restaurant, with amazing food - if you don't know what to try, ask the owner - a very kind and funny person - his recommendations were perfect. Excellent staff. Highly recommended if you're on the area or just passing by.

I have been using Taverna Adonis on my visits to Kriopighi since the age of 7, 18 years a customer.
This taverna is owned by Tollis and his son Raphael who are fantastic. The service they provide is nothing other than excellent. They are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing is too much hassle.
As a customer for all those years and all the trips to Kriopighi I can safely say that this year the service and quality of food received has improved highly to be one of the very best. Taverna Adonis is truly a gem in the village! The menu is outstanding, offering a wide variety of choices to suit every taste, and every dish I tried was absolutely delicious. The food is not only full of flavour and cooked to perfection but also excellent value for money easily the best meal I’ve had in the village this year.
The service was equally impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Taverna Adonis combines excellent food with a welcoming atmosphere, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’ll definitely be returning next year.

- They are very child friendly. Tollis has always been extremely welcoming and excellent with me and my brother from a very early age and now I have grown up I can see that he continues to do the same with many other guests and children who visit. It's very refreshing to see.

Contemporary and classic Greek cuisine. Ate here four times. Easy walk from the hotel and the owner is a star. Very welcoming and we were always well looked after. Very accommodating for my wife's onion intolerance. Beautiful plants make this a wonderful dining experience.

THE BEST PLACE IN KRIOPIGI!! Wonderful service and amazing food with affordable prices. Suitable for majority of people, with lots of options and a welcoming menu in lots of different languages. We had the best time here through out our stay and had most of our dinners here. We highly recommend if you are looking for a Greek cuisine.

This is the best place to eat in town. Family owned, hosted and staffed and in a lovely informal plant filled open space. Vegans aren’t the easiest diners to satisfy as cheese plays such a big part of most vegetarian dishes in other restaurants here. Not at Adonis, or you can mix it up if you get chatting with the host who knows his stuff. We were surrounded by meat and fish eaters who all looked like they were having their best meals in town too and the fish in particular smelled fantastic. Also (nice and quiet) dog friendly. Highly recommended.
Recommended dishes: Spanakorizo, vegan mousaka, vegan stifado and a fab mushrooms earth pasta.

This place was an unexpected good surprise. Very tasteful food, with good variety. The staff is friendly and they have a nice collection of antiques in the restaurant. Definitely recommended if you're in the area.

Just follow the lead of the owner and you’ll not regret. He advised us the mackerel and it was more than perfect!! Nice place, very friendly staff and good ambiance. Highly recommended.
